Boat U.S Collegiate Fishing Championship

Collegiate Qualification Qualifying for the 2013 Boat U.S Collegiate Bass championship took place this 2012 season and I managed to make the team to head to Pickwick Lake. Cal Climpson, Eric Santoro, Evan Hetherington and myself are the four representatives heading to the championship. The Collegiate Bass championship is set to take place on May 23 and 24 of 2013 and I have never been more excited about anything. I have already begun extensive world wide web research on the lake during that time of the year and have watched numerous amounts of videos of Pickwick lake browsing for bait selection and colours being used as I have never fished the lake before. I have been watching a lot about Mark Rose as he seems to be a force on that body of water and almost untouchable when it comes to Pickwick and ledge fishing. I have already begun planning for the 15 hour drive that I will have to go through in order to make it down there. I also plan on making video diaries when I go down there with my newest gadget the GO PRO Hero 2 Camera which is a very unique camera for all adventure and outdoors sports. I will create videos of my pre fish and the drive down with my partner for the event Evan Hetherington.This is a unique opportunity to experience what many professional fisherman experience year after year and I am ready for the challenge and going to go out and have a lot of fun. I will be sure to post all the videos and reports on the NPS website and show you what I am going through during my travels.
