Cold Hand Chrome
Many steelheaders of Southern Ontario had to deal with extremely low and clear conditions within their home waters this fall, especially in November. As we creep towards the holiday season, we hope to see numbers of steelhead entering tributaries increase respectively with precipitation and cooling temperatures. If you can tough out the cold hands, feet, freezing guides, and bone chilling winter winds, it can only get better (as long as the water is open)!
So it being mid-December, we say bye to migratory browns, colourful fall leaves, Movember mustaches, and prepare for a days fishing trip with layer upon layer of wool and fleece. Good luck this Winter!
