Gettin a bite for Lunch

Summer is over and I had quite a few great lunch hours fishing. I pretty well did nothing but punch slop out front of banks for most of the hot summer. Most fish came on a Loomis E6X 7'5 flip and punch rod paired with a Curado 70 with 50lbs power pro. Tackle wise it was 3/4 Ultra Tungsten weight pegged with a Hevi-Band using a Hevi-bead tool which is great because the weight really stays put. Plastic wise I caught a lot with a 5" Jackall Sausteki craw and had some good days with some slim creature type baits. It was cool to see how the fish's moods changed day to day. Some days they bolted, some days it had to be dead sticked and some days you had to hold it up against the bottom of the mat
