Musky Day - April 6

Here's a heads up about a great event. On Saturday, April 6, the Ottawa Chapter of Muskies Canada will host Musky Day at the Valley Fishing Show situated at the Carp Fairgrounds. This all day event features workshops, seminars and presentations by a host of musky specialists, MNR personnel and other conservationists. Everything from safe fish handling, shooting better pictures, tackle and effective lures and various high percentage presentation tactics will be covered. Resource overviews of the Ottawa River, the Lower Rideau system and the St. Lawrence River are also part of the day as are updates on various habitat enhancement initiatives. The keynote speaker is John Anderson, owner of The Ottawa River Musky Factory, a top notch guiding service. John's presentation is titled The Greatest Musky City in the World, one session you won't want to miss. Admission is dirt cheap at $8 for the entire day.
