Product Update

Just recieved an email that I thought I should share with the NPS members and followers of the NPS site. If you read my article on "Live Well or Death Well" you would remember a product called V-T2 venting for your live well. The email read as follow: Just case we failed to make this clear to our customers, I want to clarify that the V-T2's do not replace the livewell lid lifts. We had a very nice gentleman do a video review of our product and well, he didn't exactly understand what he was doing. I take the blame here. If he was confused, then others can get confused too. BEFORE INSTALLING PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT THE V-T2 IS NOT DESIGNED TO REPLACE YOUR LIVEWELL LID LIFTS. THE V-T2 NEEDS TO BE INSTALLED AS CLOSE TO THE CENTER OF YOUR LIVEWELL AND DIRECTLY OVER THE LIVEWELL WATER. THE REASON WE DID NOT DEVELOP THE V-T2 TO REPLACE YOUR LID LIFTS IS THAT MOST LID LIFTS ARE POSITIONED IN THE LID EITHER TO THE VERY FRONT OR TO THE SIDE OF THE LIVEWELL LID. IN MANY BOATS THE LID LIFTS ARE INSTALLED OVER THE TOP OF THE FRAME OR LIP OF THE STRUCTURE OF THE BOAT AND NOT POSITIONED OVER THE LIVEWELL WATER. FOR MAXIMUM COOLING, AERATION AND DEGASSING, THE V-T2 NEEDS TO BE POSITIONED DIRECTLY OVER THE LIVEWELL WATER. Just wanted to make sure that you understood too. For myself I think this email shows the dedecation of staff at V-T2 to ensure that their product is installed correctly eliminating any confussion when installing their product.
