Goals and achieving them.

There are more than a handful of people wanting to be that professional angler, myself included. I have sole searched and looked really deep into what I need to do. But the question is how do I achieve it. What I have done is research, not in books but in myself. I started out thinking what can I do to reach this almost impossible task. First never give up, its only a dream if you never pursue it. I have reached out to many companies for any kind of backing, willing to put my name out there for theirs. Many times I recieved rejections, some times I've been accepted. I have and currently participate in club level tournaments as well as top level. Never stopping my pursuit. Now its not a dream its a mission. Spending countless hours on the water, at seminars, at High school fishing meetings speaking and helping educate. I realized that I dont have to be in the spotlight to be a professional angler. If I'm educating and continuing to pass on information to help build another persons skill and knowledge then I'm succeeding. I will continue to pursue my goal and eventually reach the top. Main point I'm speaking is being a professional isnt just a person on tv casting a lure. But a figure that people can look to for advice or knowledge thats a sign you are doing something right.
