I managed to jump out on the water for about 45 minutes yesterday with my nephew before supper in the bay to have a little fun. Tied of a jig and Xcite trailer and pitched until the ladies called us in for supper. Didn't get out for long but we did catch a few nice fish to get my fix for the weekend :). We targeted submerged weedlines and weedbeds from 5 to 10 feet of water and found them right away. The best of our fish came from pitching to a suspended pile of bait I saw off the side of the boat in a hole in a weedbed. Told my nephew hey look at all those baitfish in there, pitched in BONK, gotta love when its as easy as that. Hope everyone had a great weekend. I'm looking forward to the next.
