Fly Fishing Big Water

Well......when it doesn stop raining and the rivers keep rising and the steelhead itch is to hard to take what do you do! Intametly knowing your favorite piece of water helps alot and then knowing where "the pinch points" are and the travel routes in them. Then grab the heaviest sink tips you have, the biggest and brightest flies, find one of those spots and start swinging a fly no stop through the ame area and hope to interesect a migrating steelhead. The only way I have found to get outside thses days!!
