Kayak Trouble at The Border

On a recent trip into the United States on a Kayak Fishing Trip, I was surprised when the Customs Agent on the US side of the Ambassador Bridge climbed up on the back of my Chev Avalanche to get to the two kayaks we had strapped to the roof. He actually opened up the hatches and looked inside. Normally I don' t have any trouble crossing the border whether for business or to go fishing as I frequently fish in Michigan. I did find it quite odd however when this particular agent thought that I may be bringing something into the US. Then I read a few days later that there were four Ocean Trident 13s seized by US Customs trying to paddle almost 300 pounds of Marijuana into the US.
