Handmade quality that is evident.
It's one thing to have a good factory cookie cutter rod, it's a completely different thing to have a handmade American rod that excels in all variations of the word. Having used multiple companies for Rods I can genuinely say that if all I had left for all my rods were variations of this rod I would not complain one bit. I would compare it to the quality of a G.loomis rod, what sets it apart in my mind is the "microwave" guides. These guides simply just add to the cast ability of the rod and allows more versatility with the baits you want to throw. Up here in Canada I can hook into a good sized bass , a larger pike , or even a good sized catfish without feeling under gunned. With that being said it isn't just a strong piece of rod it is also a very sensitive blank that allows for the angler to feel those softer strikes that come every now and then. Whether you're a walleye guy a bass guy or just a weekend warrior there is a variation of a Fitzgerald rod that will work for you.
Hands down unbeatable top water braid rod!! From buzzbait big jointed Swimbaits to my favorite the whooper plopper! The feel of the tip and strong backbone gets the job done. From dragging over logs on frogs. To the long cast hook set!!
