picked up this multi application today and paired it with their Mach 1 MH300 reel and it has been a great setup. The WINN grips add a great feel to the rod and the American Tackle Micro Wave Guides really prevent line twist. This rod casts smooth and far. Love it

I have the 7 ft med/heavy model and it has been a very nice lightweight rod.I personally think it would be a really good workhorse rod for the weekend warrior and tournament anglers alike.

I bought the TP1 7'3" crankbait casting rod through an on-line retailer. Although I never held it my hands< i took a chance because I had just purchased 2 Lew's Baitcast reels, and another Lew's fishing rod (Custom Magnum) and absolutely love it. The Microwave Guides were the best guides to put on them and they can cast a mile and so very smooth. The grips are very soft and comfortable decreasing fatigue throughout the day. These are amazing. Great for the angler on a budget. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone. Give it a shot, you will not be disappointed.

Love this rod. From the Winn Grips handle to the MicrWave guide system, Lew's was dead on with this one. Let me not forget to say it is lightweight and a sensitive rod. Also, for beginning anglers, the rods are stamped with what they should be used for so it takes all of the guess work out.

GREAT rod at a GREAT price

This is the best 100$ rod I have found. Lews quality is second to none with both their rods and reels. This rod, for only 99$ performs as well as some rods that I own in the 150-199$ class. The Winn-Grips feel great and allow you to keep a nice grip on the rod even when your hands are wet. The American Tackle guides are great and definitely increase casting distance and accuracy. The rods are available in many lengths and powers to suit all of your fishing needs. The actions are a bit more stiff than what you will find in other brands, but the rods are still very sensitive and strong. Great product!

I use the Inshore model of these rods and have been pulling 8+ pound snook and 12+lb redfish with them with no problem. They have great sensitivity and with the Mircowave guides you can't beat them. Really like the Winn Grips on them as well. Plan on using them for a long time.
