It's so important to protect your most valuable investment beyond your boat and that is your poles. The rod glove is top notch, high quality, they last and protect. I would recommend these to everyone. Beyond stopping your poles from getting wrapped up together in the rod locker, they help while moving them in and out of hotel rooms too during tournament travel.
keeps rods tangle free

Glove up on a bunch of rods and your buddies will watch you effortlessly transport all your rods without having tips and eyes get all tangled up between each other. Sometimes hooks get caught on these but the design of them makes it easy to get them out. definitely keep a few extra in case you have guests that pack a bunch of rods. glove them up and stack them into your rod storage without worries of them tangling up with each other, and keeping the fishing area clutter free.
Saves time and saves money

We all spend a lot of money on fishing tackle... Spending a little more on protecting your investment just makes sense. I have separated rod tubes in the locker of my boat and while I love them, they do cause wear and tear on the rods and guides while sliding them in and out. Less wear and tear means less money on new tackle. I'm also often carrying a bundle of rods in a vehicle or in my boat, by keeping the rods in rod gloves, I can separate and use them more quickly and I can be fishing faster. The one drawback is that the hard shrink-wrapped tip adds length to the rods. In my Lund the max length of the tubes in my rod-locker are 7' long; with a rodglove on the longest rod that can fit in the locker is ~6'10". it would be great if they made a version of the Rod Glove that didn't add length so I could protect my rods while maximizing the length of the rods in my locker.

--have every length of rod glove rod covers. --keep extras on the boat as visitors always want to try them and then want to keep them. --best feature is guides do not get hung up on other rods when I have multiple rods on board. Easy to remove and replace.. --on smaller boat reduced rod abrasion caused by rubbing on gunnels if not in holders.
