ish. I found that I learned a lot by fishing different species in the diverse variety of lakes and rivers we have in the GTA, Bass and steelhead are my first love. As a teenager, I dominantly fished for fun. With my brothers and cousins at my side, we enjoyed fishing for all species but as the passion and talent grew I started to fish tournaments. I only fished the ones that I felt very confident that I could win. I shattered my personal best record bass with a 6lb 11 oz monster smallmouth bass from Lake simcoe, also my personal best largemouth bass is 5lb 9oz that i got from a small inland lake.I hope to beat them both in the near future. I feel I am one of those old style fishermen, I like keeping it simple. I'm fast thinking, adaptable and very intense. My love for fishing has lead me to travel and fish all over Ontario.
