Auto Chart Pro

One of the largest short comings for many fisherman is the inability to find good mapping for their local lake. In Western Canada there just isn't anything that shows depth, contour lines and bottom hardness until now. On March 3, 2015 I purchased the Autochart Pro software and SD card. I went out onto our local lake and started recording area's that produced fish in the past as well as some area's that I noticed had points and other interesting features. I have since uploaded and started creating maps of the lake. This has been a real eye opener as to why the fish are in these area's. The picture attached shows the mapped area's and what would be there on the normal mapping if I didn't have the Auto chart mapping. If you live in an area where there isn't detailed mapping this software is a must. Some notes to keep you from becoming as frustrated as I was learning this system. 1. Update your Humminbird unit to ensure that when you try to use the newly created map your unit will see it. 2. Remember to save the routes. 3. you can transfer the data from the unit to the computer on any SD card. I hope this software helps you as much as it has helped me to find the fish in uncharted waters.
