Braving the storms on Lake Michigan

I took advantage of the breaks in the weather to get some trolling done on Lake Michigan Sunday and Monday with very minimal results. Sunday I boated a 2-3lb chinook after missing a storm just to the North of me. Monday after a few hours I ended up with a 5lb chinook that took a double orange crush on a two color leadcore off my Shimano TDR. That day it was neat watching the heavy rain move in to the south of me and I had one rain cell miss me by 100yrds. After hearing how the big boats and charter captains have been doing, I'm not to dissapointed in my results seeing i'm running 6 rods vs their 15-18 rods.
