Sometimes It's Better On The Fly!

The past couple of months I have been switching my interest to fly fishing .... And.... I absolutely love it ! I have been going on different adventures chasing trout, bluebill and now my addiction is swinging flies for smallmouth. I have been fishing the American waters of Lake Erie perfecting my cast and catching some decent smallmouth as well... I've been using a 8wt rod with full sinking line and I use another 8wt set up with a sink tip line. I've been finding that bigger the fly ... the better it is! So I guess sometimes bigger is better! I had an excellent bass opener this year on Lake Erie. I caught well over 30 fish on the fly in just one day! My next adventure will bring me to Montana at the end of July where I'll be chasing down some brown trout, cut throat and maybe some bull trout... all on the fly of course! Cheers, Olivia Michaud
