West Coast Browns
From drought conditions in Tasmania to massive floods, this has meant our rivers and Hydro Storages have risen rapidly. Daniel and i have been hitting the West coast rivers and hydro systems with some Pleasing results. Fishing big Squidgies with heavy Jigheads deep with gentle lifts and long pauses has been getting the bite. We are stoked with the new Ci4 Stradic 2500 matched to a 3 to 6 kg 3 zero rod, 8 lb power pro and 10 lb ocea flurocarbon leader.

Hi jason the Stations still fish ok in January, the rivers do taper off a bit. That said i am chasing different species then, so still could be worth a look.

Great post. Some cracking browns there. I'm heading over in January. Is it worth a look in the western rivers at that time?
