summer

I have benn busy with fishing and work and not able to post. Bass season started with The muddy mucks tournament where we finished 6th, Duane got a nice 5lb that help us. most of our fish on a custom color Wart Hawg from Anglers Choice. Next day fished a Hagtown bassmasters clubbie with Young Kim and the won it with 14lb. most fish on the Wart Hawg . my next tourney was the Top bass tri-lakes we didn't fare to well got 13 lb plus both days . day one the out came should have been better but that's fishing. we are punching mats and pads with a 3/4 ultra tungeston and a Vok craw in black/blue, a Vok frog and a jig. My next tourney was the HYPER tour event on Seymor lake it was a tough day with high winds and the fish was on the lock down mode. caught enough fish to finish 7th out of 35 boats and take the last pay spot. caught them on a few different baits. I belive the key was the scent I was using the Bass Butter. Next on the lisyt was the Top Bass Rice lake tournaments we ad a tough prefish and day one run and gun every place we know to catck 15 plus lb with one 5.75 that took big fish honors. finished 22nd overall Sunday we spend a few hours smallie fishing with little success. Managed to get 15 lb plus by running dock and tree plus collected another big fish award with a 5.45lb largie. all of our fish on the weekend came on a 7/16 NME jig with a chunk and a New Age lures flipping tube and dosed on the Bass Butter stuff. all on the 7'4" heavy Loca series from Simax Returned last Saturday to Rice for the second HYPER tourney, fished with Tom and we managed to place 3rd and I got big fish award again with a 5.79lb largie that I got of a dock. All the fish came on a Jig again. sunday fished the Top Bass Sturgeon with Call Culbert. spend a protion of the morning fish for smallies with a jerkbaits and drop shots lost a couple decent ones and managed a limit. Speed the rest of the day trying to upgrade with largies and managed to get 4.99 of a dock and a couple of 3lbs of pads all on a jig. we finishe 6th
