Fall Largemouth and my daughters first 6 lbs Donkey

Saturday my daughter and I were thinking of hitting the water and targeting some fall Largemouth as the season is slowly coming to an end. I could not be happier to have made that decision and head out as we crushed them. The best part of my day was seeing my daughter catch her first 6 lbs Largie! In all we caught over 25 fish and had a least half a dozen 5 pounders and a hand full of healthy 4 pounders. To get these fish in the boat we used an NRX 803C matched with a Chronarch CI4 HG and 40 lbs Power Pro braided line. The magic bait for the day was a Jackall 1/2 oz Spade dressed with a Darthog in black and orange tip. If you have not given a day on the water for some largies get out there and give a try and you maybe very surprised at what awaits you! Go get em!!!!!
