Shimano's New Citica I 2015

Shimano brings us once again with it's proven technology the arrival of the new Citica I Series baitcasting reels. This new Citica I includs X-Ship for smooth retrieve and you will reach maximum casting distance and put your bait where the fish live with the combination of S3D spool and the easy-to-manage SVS Infinity braking system. These great Citica reels are available in 5.5:1, 6.3:1 and 7.2:1 gear ratios. The new Citica also has Shimano's S3D (Stable Spool Design) technology which starts with a more balanced and uniform thin wall spool constructed out of aluminum to reduce vibration during all of your casts. As with the Shimano Curado I the new Citica features the same basic externally adjustable SVS infinity braking system which we have found to be excellent at not only controlling casts but helping maximize casting distance and accuracy for you to get them in the boat. If you are looking for a tough and durable reel look to Citica. I plan on hitting the water once again this weekend targeting fall Largemouth and using the Citica I as my baitcast of choice.
