St. Johns River Fall Schoolers Part 2
With a follow up to last weeks mid week Chunks i was able to sneak out again to see if more fish moved into my spot. Sure enough with cold front gone and the weather staying consistent the school i found were still there and getting bigger.
I pulled up to my spot at sunrise and within a few minutes i knew the fish where there and school had gotten much bigger.
I could not could not catch the fish fast enough and if i would have had one of my fishing buddies with me it would have been a 50+ fish day.
I manged to catch around 25 fish with all being solid keepers with a few bonus kickers.
I caught my fishing throwing two key baits.
Lucky Craft Sammy 100 and a 1/2 ounce Strike King Red Eye Shad.
The river this time of year can be an awesome place to fish and fine tuning a spot makes for a good tournament bag.
