Cold Front Pre-Spawn Bite

Despite the Cold Front moving in and the increase in wind the bite is still good right now. The first wave of spawning fish have moved up in certain parts of the river. With the wind and over cast conditions we decided to not fish a local tournament and head to another part of the St. Johns River system. Finding areas that where not blown out by the wind was key to getting some decent bites. Once things start to warm up and the weather conditions stable out looking for fish on beds will be a good start to the 2016 season.
