24 YEARS IN THE MAKING
Finally after 24 years I figured out my home lake. As always the Emerald Isle Bass Tournament was a grind to say the least. I think this was the first time in 24 years that we got a limit both days. This is a tournament that I have always wanted to win and it sure feels good to have done that. Patience and believing in what we we doing was the key. Thanks to my partner Steve Hawkins for a great weekend. We figured out that we averaged a fish every 375 casts. Most of our fish came on flipping jigs in 5 different locations
