Oneida Lake

Oneida is fishing tough as the results from the Bassmaster Open confirms. Big fish can be caught , but it is not easy and takes a lot of persistence. I caught most of my fish on a drop shot rigged with a Bass Pro Shops Speed Shad in green pumpkin. The leaders where using small drop shot baits in white and reported catching a few with green pumpkin. I missed the white color and focused on colors that matched a koby color. Turned out to be a mistake lol, I also used my Aqua-Vu camera before offical practice started and saw several nice small mouth and a ton of Walleye. Other equipment used was my CastAway Invicta Drop Shot rod with 18 pound Gliss to a 6 pound P=line leader. I also used a Carolina rig with limited success. bottom line the big small mouth are still there but they are being very finicky to sat the least.
