Unlocking one of the secrets to catching monster summer splake
I’ve spent a lifetime learning how to fish various trout , the last few years I’ve primarily focused on summer splake and learning how to pattern them . Even though they have 80% laketrout genes that 20% brook trout really shows up not only in the colours but more in the characteristics of the water habitat that brookies like and what they feed on . So if your stuck on watching these fish on your gragh in deep water and their not biting you might want to think outside the box and try shallower they love to move in and out timing is the golden key ?
