Late Summer Fishing
This time of year is always eventful as bait is plentiful and redfish feed with abandon in the shallows. They do lots of crawling, tailing etc and will eat topwater lures as well as flies. Catching them with live bait is not difficult if you know where to fish, and we've been having some 30-40 fish days lately. We are still catching trout and black drum as well, but the redfish are the most fun when water temperatures are in the upper 80's.

I love this time of year! Next month, the trout and flounder should be insane! I've been seeing tons of shrimp the last couple times I was out. That one red would have definitely won any side bet on the fish with the most spots in any club tournament. Good Luck out there!
