Back on Tour Again

Oct 4 monthly meeting of Fort Worth Fly Fishers Meetings start at 7:00pm and are held in room 2-114 of the DD Byers Building 3500 Camp Bowie Blvd. Fort Worth‎ Texas. Our October speaker is Native Texan Lefty Ray Chapa, an angler known for his knowledge of all-things saltwater fly fishing. He will be sharing his vast knowledge of fishing the Texas Gulf for red fish speckled trout and other species. Lefty Ray is a San Antonio, TX based, award winning, professional photographer and writer specializing in outdoor subjects like fly fishing, kayak fishing, and waterfowling. He just recently was voted the President of the Texas Outdoor Writers Association (TOWA) and won several awards in outdoor photography at their recent conference last month as well as awards from the national organization, OWAA, in July. In January he was elevated to the national level of the G. Loomis Pro Staff.
