Second Chance!

I was very eager to get out this morning but was unable due to the fact that I would end up in the dog house! My lady finally woke up and I rushed out of the house quick as possible. I arrived to the river just before noon. Fishing by this point was difficult because there were many anglers on the water. I missed a couple of fish and called it a day since the majority of the holes were taken. I was frustrated because it seemed like I was the only angler who was fish less on the day. I received a text from pro staff Greg Attard telling me the fishing was picking up, I was not fully geared but had my fishing rod and bait which was all that mattered. I met up with Greg at approximately 5:30 and the hole I had wanted to fish had a sheet of ice over it. I found a big log and began to break the ice. We waited about 5 minutes to get back in and the action started. I ended up going 3 for 5 on the day, I was just happy that I did not get skunked! Thanks for the invite Greg, it was a pleasure.
