A Thank You...

16 years ago I was a 12 year old kid who loved to fish. I had an idea to give the world a kid's perspective on the sport in the form of a television show. I took the idea to the Sportsman Show and spoke to anyone in a dealer booth that would listen. I didn't fully understand how that trip would impact... well realistically the rest of my life. A few weeks later my friend Jeremy Scott and I received a call from Art Stein of Pure Fishing to move forward with our show idea. Without going through the full detail, for the next 5 years we got to do some things not many people eve twill. We were featured speakers on the main stage at the Sportsman Show, appeared on National Television as guest hosts, held a weekly spot on national programming, wrote for magazines with North American reach.... and for me I was introduced to tournament fishing. Without that phone call there is no way all that would have happened. Personally the last couple of years "real life" has caught up and my time on the water has been reduced - something I'm looking forward to changing for this upcoming season. I would like to extend a big thank you to Pure Fishing, the Ambassador Team and specifically Art Stein for pouring some fuel on the fishing passion and continuing to support that passion over what (as scary as it is to say) is closing in on 2 decades.
