Bass opener

Hope everyone had a great opener. Me an my buddy Dave Richmond hit up the kawartha lakes as it was bass opener. We fished a lot of smallies because the largies were no where to be found. I got a nice 24 inch smallie using my streamside predator baitcasting series 7.6ft medium. Fast action rod. It is an amazing crankbait rod as it has a very soft tip so you don't yank the hooks out when you set the hook or when the fish jumps. I also used my streamside predator spinning rods. My medium heavy and medium 7.2ft for a senko and tube jig. Also great in the 6.6ft medium heavy for a jerkbait rod. We ended up the day with about 10 decent fish including to tanks. Hopefully next weekend we can find some big largies!
