Northern buckets

Amazing trip a few weeks ago up north at my aunts cottage and my own. Canada day long weekend I went up to my aunts cottage. The word about this lake is they tried to stock it with bass and walleye in 50's and the lake was not successful. Very few fish are in her lake. I still decided to go out and hunt for largies and walleye. I went out one morning and the fishing was great!! 5 walleye and 2 smallies in the morning. On my way in I decided to fish the shoreline. The sun was high and and the water was fairly calm. There was a small little cedar tree fallen in the water. I flip my juggernaught jig into the tree and on the drop my line jumps! I set the hook and it was dead weight it felt like it lasted forever! I thought I was snagged and the fish began to move! Swam right at me and jumps a monster large mouth bass!! I was speechless the bass looked like a carp! The fish began to dig under the boat my rod loaded up! The fish comes up and I have the net ready and scoup it up! Massive bass! I bring it back to the dock holding it in my net in the water waiting for picture. I snapped a few pics, a weight and a video of the release. Such an unbelievable experience! Also went up to my cottage for a few weeks and got a tons of bass bringing in about 12 pounds of bass for 3 fish. Flippin docks, wood and dunking deep weeds with jigs, craws, senkos and cranking. Had a blast!
