Minor changes equal results
Your tools are as important as your lures. Sometimes small changes make a big difference. I've always heard and tend to agree that frogs work best with a loop knot. I believe how you make changes will also be a factor. This morning i had a limited time to fish about 1 hour to be exact. During this hour i had three levels of sunlight. At 6:45 you can barely see the light breaking but low to no light hitting the water to where i threw a dark mouse to intice a bite but had no luck, at about 7:00 light was creeping on the water so i switched to a patterned frog with a lighter contrasting color had a few hits but nothing hooked. At about 7:15 light was all over the water, i decided to switch out to a white Spro chug frog. And ended up hooking a nice 2lb frog killer. Using my line cutter ring makes switching out a breeze. Limited time, light transition, or if you feel your just a fraction of color or lure away of catching a fish line cutterz ring makes it easy to get that lure you need on, to land that fish you're after.
