Fins Wind Tamer braided line
I have tried several different types of braided line when re-spooling or spooling new reels. I like to try new line from time to time when respooling looking for performance, quality and if possible affordability. It wasn't till I tried "Power Pro slick8" that i was truly impressed but, as any angler when you here talk about other products you become intrigued, so I also tried "Suffix 832" and was just as pleased. Untill recently I would spool either of these choosing which ever was more readibly available. I hadn't had much of an itch to change line knowing that several lines out there have let me down and both the "slick8" and "832" where performing as advertised. As an angler though my ear and eyes stay open to new products hearing about "Fins Windtamer" often made me curious if it would live up to the hype. So after this last cleaning session i laced my reel up with 30# "Fins wind tamer" and I'm not saying go and rip out your "slick 8" and "832" but if your in the market to try braided line or respooling i highly recommend the "Fins" braid. I know when my other reels are do for new line what im going for. Just wondering what others thoughts and experience is with braid, any suggestions?

I was fishing with 2 year old line and caught a pretty big sheepshead. I put it through hell too.

Mathew, i have yet to test is longevity and being that it's only 4 strand as opposed to 8 like the slick 8 or 832 line i want to see how it holds up when I'm fishing shell or rocks although i use a leader.

Windtammer is literally the only line I put on my reals. I swear by it!!! I literally pulled power pro off all my reals and replaced with windtammer 30#
