that's intense. I can't imagine how hard they must pull. That's definately on the bucket list.

Hi Matt, Thanks for the comment. Was definitely a cool experience. We had one fish (which we believe to be the one that we hooked up) grab some chum mackeral at the side of the boat. Very cool to see!!! By the way - the fish they got a few days later was landed in less than 20 minutes, so you can see how our fish used the wind and waves to his advantage. That was the longest fight they have ever had on the boat. Felt bad for the angler. He was completely exhausted at the end! One of the hardest things about fishing for tuna is keeping the gannets from diving and stealing your live mackeral. Same goes for seals, haha! Will definitely be back again next year! By the way - we had a CBC crew out in the boat filming an episode of Land and Sea. I will let you know when it is televised. Good Fishing, Justin

Looks pretty wild Justin. I watched a tv show and they fed them mackerel until they felt like hooking up, it was so neat to see a huge fish like that come take bait at the side of the boat. great video
