42" pike

Yesterday was very rainy, windy and real crappy...except for the fishing. Conditions were favourable in my area and after 1 cast I knew I was going to have a good day. fished for a little over an hour and caught 5 pike and lost another 5 or 6, all handles but tons of fun, exciting and action packed! seeing them race off the bottom and absolutely smash your bait dockside is soo cool. So today after breakfast, a couple coffees and before work I decided to throw the crank around for an hour and best decision of my life. Hook into a big boy, once i see him surface i know its a monster! net him, unhook him, picture time, measure and back in to revive before he swims off. measured in 42" and needless to say made my day!!!!
