Casey cup

Casey cup. Yesterday was an awesome day to see the big bags that lake simcoe could produce 58 teams out of 84 team brought in over 20 lbs of fish. I was fishing with my partner steve delyea and we had a plan that knew that could produce for us. Heading out just past spawning bays we knew the big girls would be coming off the bed and heading out for a snack. Using slamo wacky and rapala jerk baits we went to town. Noticing early though the fish didn't really want the aggressive motion that you would usually try jerk baiting small mouth. So we starting slowing down the presentation and boom the big girls came out to play with in cast two 5's back to back we were on a roll. As they day went on the bites slowed down and the fish for us moved a lot deeper but were still coming up to hit the jerk bait. But all in all what an awesome day, just think where else can you say here in Canada that you weighed in 25.40 for 12 th place what an amazing fishery.
