Mixing It Up

So with all the rain and the amount of people at the creek I took a little break from the steelhead and tried to get out for some Pike the last couple days. The fishing turned put to be awesome as I got 8 pike in the three nights I went out. I was happy to finnally get the Baitcaster out and get back into it again because its been a while with all the creek action going on. So I was pretty much just tossing a blue husky jerk Rapala as far out as I could and they were slamming it! I even found that tons of the pike were giving follow ups and you could see them at you're feet. one of the fish i even caught litterally a foot infront of me doing figure eights which was cool! So heres a few pictured of the fish, they were a little under average but let me tell you the fight was awesome so get out there guys and get into these gators, you wont regret it. This saturday im heading up to Sturgeon lake to fish for bass, perch and Muskie so hopefully I can get into one to show you guys! i know they are really active this time of year so my fingers are crossed, wish me luck!
