Steelhead Season

So ive been getting out for the steelhead a decent amount in the last little while. Its a bit harder too working full time but i still manage to get out whenever I can. The water currently and recently has been so clear all the fish are completely spooked almost everywhere and the majority of them in my local creek are now just spawned out fallbacks BUT they never fail to amaze me and always give an awesome fight. What ive been doing lately is litterally just simple fishing, finding the deep holes and fishing the holes where you cant see the fish because chances are.. they cant see you ever. I know it gets frustrating standing over a pool that you cant see through or see any fish in but trust me thats where the picture worthy fish are. Plus, anyone can find a shallow pool full of steelhead and place their bait in their mouth but thats no fun at all. So heres a few pictures lf some of the fish ive been getting into lately, I managed to get myself into a beautiful brown also one day out of a really deep pool and it was one of the best fights ive had in a while. I even managed to somehow land a little pike on my centerpin at the marsh using corn for carp and that was something different let me tell you, gave all the guys a good laugh. Hopefully with the rainfall ahead the water dirties up and that also means days off work for me = fishing in the pouring rain, nothin beats it. Hope everyone had a great walleye opener and safe travel over the weekend. cheers.
