Florida Winter & mid 20 degree Mornings
We are keeping a close eye on the weather down here in NE Florida.
With the Full moon and water temperatures in the mid 50's its only a matter of a few warmer 70 degree days till the fish start thinking about the love dance.
Started the morning with a brisk 28 degrees. My main focus was locating isolated matted cover around spawning flats.
I broke out my flipping sticks and heaving gear and punched my way to a few good fish.
The bite was slow but when we got bite the fish where of quality.
My setup.
ALX ZOLO PowerBolt 7'11 XXH rod. (Power House of a Rod. Simply Awesome)
13 Fishing Concept C 8:1 Reel
60 pound Sunline Braid
1.5 ounce Picasso Tungsten weight.
Trokar 4/0 heavy duty flipping hook.
Gambler BB Cricket.
Lets see what the weekend brings and just maybe some of the bigger fish will move up.
