Moving Brown Trout

The Lake Ontario brown trout are coming to an end with this mild weather. The past two days iv been trying to chase down that elusive 20 pound fish with NPS am Leavon Peleikis and NPS pro Steve Delyea. Its sad to say it didnt happen but we still managed to have alot of fun. The clear water and high blue sky conditions didn't help us out at all, the brown trout fishing was very tough as a result. In less than a week these fishing went from being in tight to shore to cursing open water. We never figured out a trolling pattern for the browns but still managed to have a great time catching carp, sheephead, mooneyes, and silver bass close to shore. Maybe we will get some strong North wind next week, the lake will flip giving me one last crack at the beautiful browns. Thxs for joining me Leavon and Steve. Its only a matter of time before the crappie move into the back bays and we get to enjoy a great meal after a fun morning of fishing. Cheers, Bryan Low
