Weekday Walleye Smackdown

Today I spent the morning fishing walleye with Dan Miguel. We did a commination of pitching grubs in weeds and slow cranking weed lines with perch colour lures. The early morning wasn't nearly as good as we where hoping for so at 730 we changed spots and changed or technique to a slow jigging pattern closer to a river mouth, right away we started picking apart some smaller fish. By 830 the wind picked up and the crank bait bite was on. We ended up boating 12 nice walleye, we each took home our limit, and to top it all off we where off the water by 10am and managed to get our full work day in.
