Tarpon & G.Loomis Travel Rods

Spent a few weeks in Belize fishing and before I left I picked up 3 G.Loomis travel rods in the Escape series. I opted for the spinning series in a medium, medium/heavy and heavy. Although I primarily fly fished for Bones and Tarpon, I did use the medium for live bait fishing for Bones and the MH for live bait Tarpon fishing. Super impressed with the strength and durability of these rods. Mated with Shimano's Stradic 2500 and 5000 series reels and loaded with PowerPro 20# and 30# braid I had a reel screaming good time! Even live baited for King Mackerel and they can sure peel some line in a hurry! If you're looking to do some fishing abroad I highly recommend G.Loomis's Travel Escape series rods.
