Trout, Reds, Triple Tails, and MORE!!!!

Sorry for the lack of posts, but we have not stopped in May. These pictures are just from the first 10 days of May!!! We have had boats nearshore, offshore, in the LA Marsh and of course out at the Cat Island House. The fishing and weather have been nothing short of amazing. The live bait shops have been blowing and going. We have been going through an absurd amount of live shrimp, croakers and cocoahoes. Some days we are using them on Carolina rigs over shell bottoms. Other days we are rigging them under our go to Boat Monkey Popping corks. All of our friends have been coming to the parties. The trout, reds, sheepshead, drum, sharks, and flounder have been in good numbers. Capt Alex has even been running his catamaran offshore to do a little scouting for the upcoming snapper season. Judging from the pics, and videos, it is safe to say, he has found them!!! The party crasher, that we always love to see, has been our beloved triple tail. For the last week or so, we have been seeing them almost every trip. It was a tough grind this winter and early spring. We caught plenty of fish then, but we really had to work for them. Now that the weather, water, temperatures, bait, and fish are all doing the right things, it has been an absolute blast on the boats. The Calendar has been pretty much booked, especially on the weekends. With so many trips booked, some folks have opted to get on the STANDBY list, if another trip cancels. It doesn't cost a thing, and with that many trips booked, it is not uncommon for the standby crew to get a call to fish.
