One Hungry Pike

On a recent trip crappie fishing, this hungry pike decided to munch on this 11-12" crappie! Thought I would share this photo as it was certainly the highlight of our trip. Enjoyed some fine crappie fishing with my good friend Lou. If you've read my previous posts, you will know that my favourite panfish rod is the Fenwick HMG 6' medium light rod paired with a Pflueger Supreme size 25 reel. I like using 6 lb Fireline Tracer as my main line and a 4 or 6 pound Trilene 100% Flourocarbon leader combined with your favourite panfish jigs and it's go time! I would also like to thank all my followers as I just recently passed the 500 followers mark. Will be sharing more posts in the near future.
