Success with Streamside

Recently spent the last couple of days jigging 1/2 oz jigs in the St Marys River with great success. One of the keys to my success has been the Streamside Predator 6'6 Medium Heavy(MH) fast Tip spinning. I actually like the MH rod over the Medium(M) action for my high current river fishing. With a little bit stiffer flex in the rod at the base not the tip it allows for ultra sensitivity in your hand when locating bottom is critical in your delivery. The perfect rod when jigging 3/8 oz up to 1 oz jigs. You can really finesse the bait to trigger the bite. This rod delivers quality but the most important element is the fact it feels good in your hands. My hook set ratio is much higher when using this rod. Now combine this rod with some high vis Fireline and it becomes the ultimate weapon in boating walleyes. Streamside has done a great job in developing some incredible rods that I trust on a daily basis especially in big money tournaments. I want to publicly thank them for their support for the past 2 years on many levels and I will continue to show anyone who will listen that this rod stands up to the best. Once you hold one you will be hooked for sure. Check them out at www.streamside.ca or email me at [email protected] and I will help put Streamside in your hands.

The Streamside Predator rods certainly have me excited... Can't wait to give a few more a try on the water. Great report and some nice eyes for sure.

Nice eyes Shane, the high vis FireLine sure helps see a strike when it happens also.
