NY BASS Nation Points Event:Cayuga Lake

Fished the last points event for the NY BASS Nation club out of Cayuga Lake. To say the fishing was tough is an understatement. I managed 3 bites all day. The first bite came early off a weighted wacky worm(3lbs) unfortunately came off at the side of the boat. Couple hours later I was able to hook up again on the same bait but managed to land this fish(3.53lbs) which happened to be my only fish to go to weigh in with. I got this fish off a weed edge in about 8-12ft of water. They were cruising the inside and outer edges of the weeds. This fish was able to land me 7th place for the Co-angler side, just outside the money. Days like that teach you valuable lessons about tough fishing days. Keep your head down and grind the day out.
